Cbank against trade of cryptocurrency-connected papers on bourses

MOSCOW, Jul 22 (PRIME) -- The central bank has recommended Russian bourses prevent trading in the securities of national and foreign companies, whose payments depend on the prices of cryptocurrencies and prices on foreign digital financial assets, the regulator said in a statement on Thursday.

The securities should not depend on changes in the indices of cryptocurrencies and crypto-assets, and on the price of crypto-derivatives and securities of the cryptocurrency funds. The recommendation is meant to protect the interests and rights of investors and to maintain trust in the financial market of Russia, the authority said.
